The Hon. Michael Danby MP
Parliamentary Secretary for the Arts
Federal Member for Melbourne Ports

PRESS STATEMENT

Michael Danby said: "General Hayden's cautious but authoritative interview reinforces the wisdom of the bar on Huawei building the fibre optic central nervous system of Australian telecommunications."

"Yet Julie Bishop again committed the Coalition to reviewing this bar on Huawei. Her willful disregard for National Security advice has alarming, indeed dangerous implications if the Liberals were to win the imminent election."
